Q: What causes hair loss?
Generally speaking, the link between certain forms of hair loss and the immune system is well accepted, there is also evidence for a connection between genetics and the immune system and pattern loss (Androgenetic Alopecia). In line with this, it appears that hormones, especially DHT, trigger an autoimmune response in pattern loss, initiating an attack on the hair follicle that can be observed microscopically. This results in destructive inflammation that gradually destroys the follicle's ability to produce terminal hair.

Q: How long does it take to see results with Bio Follicle?
At least 3 to 4 weeks, doing independent studies 89% noticed significant improvements with long term use following the prescribed twice per day application regiment, see photo results page This is because hair follicles undergo a relatively long dormancy period in between growth cycles (usually about 3 months). In addition, hair only grows about 1/2 inch per month in non-thinning areas and usually considerably slower in thinning areas. Since it generally takes several cycles of growth/fallout/regrowth, with the hair getting thicker and longer each time, it can take a great deal of time to see noticeable improvement. Note that best regrowth results are seen with hair that was lost within the last five years and in areas of the scalp in which there is still some fine hair. Q: Can I apply Bio Follicle to wet hair?
For best results we suggest you towel-dry your hair before applying bioFollic to make sure your hair is not dripping.

Q: Can I still use my regular styling products like moisturizer, gel, hair spray when I'm using Bio Follicle ?
Yes, you can continue to use your normal styling routine just be sure to apply BioFollicle prior then allow it to dry before using styling products.

Q: WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I STOP USING BIO FOLLICLE
Your hair's growth cycle will return to its prior condition. You will retain the growth produced by Bio Follicle. Additional hair growth after you stop taking Bio Follicle will not have the benefits of being nourished by Bio Follicle.

Q: Can I blow dry my hair after using BioFollicle?
Yes, however if air drying is avoided we recommend that you use your hair dryer on a low to medium cycle after applying Bio Follicle.

Q: Is BioFollicle safe to use on permed or color treated hair?
Bio Follicle can be used on permed or color treated hair however we advise that you avoid using Bio Follicle on the same day that your hair is chemically or color treated in order to eliminate possible scalp irritation.

Q : Should I use BioFollicle Hair and scalp treatment while taking medication?
Some medications do cause hair loss or hair thinning, however, BioFollicle may be used to aid in counteracting the hair loss and hair thinning problem. We do not recommend using the Bio Follicle Hair & Scalp treatment System during radiation or chemotherapy treatment.
